A Private Members' Club

A private club for people who work for themselves

Working for yourself can be a lonely place. The Lindfield Entrepreneurs Club exists so it doesn't have to be: a community of local founders, freelancers and business owners who meet, talk and become friends.

What we do

Behind the door

Membership is by invitation and everything happens inside. Three simple things make up the club.

I

Community

A private space to share wins, worries and everything in between with people who understand the self-employed life. No pitching, no prospecting. Just people.

II

Events

Regular gatherings in and around Lindfield: suppers, walks, talks and pub evenings. Members can also request events they'd like the club to host.

III

The Marketplace

A members-only noticeboard where local businesses may offer something to the club, such as a discount, a favour or a first look. Offered freely, never pushed.

Our ethos

Friendship first, business second

"We're not a networking group. We're the people you wave to on the High Street who happen to understand what running your own thing actually feels like."
  • Invitation only: a small club of people who live and work locally.
  • Not a sales platform. Nobody joins to find customers.
  • What's said in the club stays in the club.
  • Give more than you take: advice, introductions and encouragement.

Membership is by invitation and kept deliberately small. If you work for yourself in Lindfield or the surrounding villages, we'd love to hear from you.
